History comes alive again in Sanlúcar de Barrameda thanks to a new immersive experience developed by IMAGEEN. From now on, visitors to the Castillo de Santiago will be able to travel back in time with virtual reality glasses that recreate historical episodes that occurred more than three centuries ago.
This innovative proposal, promoted together with the Spanish Historical Heritage Network and financed by the European Union - Next Generation EU, allows the public to experience the events from the inside, accompanied by historical characters reconstructed with all the documentary rigor. Available in several languages, this experience goes beyond conventional tourism: it is an open door to the past, specially designed to connect with new generations and highlight the rich legacy of our country.
